Luka Modric: Gareth Bale Can Win Ballon D'or

The Welshman scored hat-trick against Deportivo La Coruna under the management of Zinedine Zidane. He is now the first Englishman who scored two hat-tricks in one season of La Liga.

Modric said "I have got a very good relationship with Gareth. On Saturday after the game, I told him that if he keeps playing like this then I do not see any reason why he can't be there in the top team and then go on to win it. He has all the possibilities. He is a great player. Powerful, quality, everything. I hope in the future that he will be here."

Real Madrid's next outing is a La Liga game at the home ground Sporting Gijon against whom they will play on next weekend. They will play the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 match against AS Roma on 17th of February 2016.
